Send your request directly to Atlassian’s Trademark team at trademarks@atlassian.com. Their current guidelines specifically direct trademark-use questions and permission requests there, and say that reproducing Atlassian screenshots or imagery requires permission. See Trademarks guidelines

On top of what Viswanathan said (and that's the best course of action; send all questions you have to the stated email address), here are some key considerations related to your book:

When preparing your references, please keep the following in mind:

• Attribution: Ensure you provide proper notice and attribution for all Atlassian trademarks used.

• Website Design: Your website should be clearly distinguishable and not closely resemble Atlassian’s own web properties.

• Domain Names: Avoid using Atlassian trademarks (like "Jira" or "Trello") within your top-level domain name, though they may be used in the URL path (e.g., yourdomain.com/jira)
