Hi @Vishnu Vardhan Chenna

A few simple checks to start with...

  • Is this a Company-managed or Team-managed Project?
    • Team-managed Projects must use an Epic from within that single Project - cross-Project parent/child relationships only work in Company-managed
  • Do you have access to both Projects? And does this include edit/link access?
  • Can you select other Epic(s) as the parent? Or do all Epics not work?

Hi @Vishnu Vardhan Chenna,

You may have answered your own question. When I simulate this, I see the option to display closed issues as well:

After selecting the show done issues checkbox, the epic I'm looking for appears in the list.

Hope this helps!

On a side note. If the epic you're looking for is in a (different) team managed project, this won't work. In team managed projects, you can only link issues to epics from the same project.

To clarify, that 'Show done issues' triggers off of the 'Epic Status' field, not the Status field, so it may not behave exactly as you'd expect.
