I have an ask for some of my Jira users: the ability to create issues from emails without going into Jira. We have the ability to do thsi on Teams, however many groups woudl like the ability to have an email create a Jira issue.
We explaored the Atlassin side, however we are not a POP/IMAP user due to security concerns. Hence this leave me searching for an app.

To clarify are you looking for a process where you send an email and that creates an issue, or where you are viewing an email in your email client and you want to use its content to create an issue?

Is the destination Space a Service space or a Business or Software space?
If it is a Service space then JSM natively provides incoming email handling.
If it is a Business or a Software space there are a few apps that process incoming emails. I'm not sure if any of these will work for you. I don't know the details of your email service and I haven't dug into what the prerequisites are for these apps.
