Searching by Issue Number Alone No Longer Works?

Previously, we could search the board using just the issue number (e.g., "123"), and it would return results. Now, we have to enter the full project key and number (e.g., "ABC-123") for it to work.

Screenshots below:

This change is frustrating and unnecessarily slows down our workflow; we shouldn't have to type the full key just to find an issue.

Searching from the Backlog however, it works exactly as wanted and intended.

As a workaround: if you're sure it's visible on the page, you can always use the browser's search feature (Ctrl + F).

It's also helpful during presentations when someone says "click something" - you can quickly search for it.

Hi @Komail Hasan welcome to the community.  I don't recall that functionality since we've been on the cloud.  I found JRACLOUD-40557 entered out on Atlassian's Jira Site.  I would suggest voting for and watching it.  That was entered awhile ago, so it could use some help.  Feel free to also comment on it with your use cases.

Hope that helps.
