Search results give dueDates that are out of search range

I enter the following search and receive invalid dates. See hyperlink to graphic.

duedate < '2013-03-15' order by duedate desc

nope, still getting the same results

I reindexed, then closed all my browsers, got a new browser, did the search again, got the same results

should I report this as a bug ?

Do a reindex and check whether it is back to normal.
