Search for 'Severity' field in the jira filter not showing available severity filter values

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
While searching 'severity' through jira filter i am not seeing severity values like 'Blocker', 'Critical',. 'Major', 'Minor' and 'Trivial' to filter.
I have all these options and i am able to select severity for defects but not able to see these severity values while filtering
