I'm struggling with the following issue - when a work item key is typed into the search bar, Jira sends back an error, even though this item exists. It does this 2-3 times, and then finds the work item and opens it.
I believe this happened after the latest update.
Has anyone noticed similar behaviour?
Any advice on this would be appreciated.

I haven't noticed this particular behavior lately, but there's a ticket/feature request regarding the general search experience here: JRACLOUD-94189: Top search bar does not fetch results the same way the search bar within boards does.
Also, are other users on your site experiencing the same thing? Can you maybe try using a different browser or incognito mode to confirm the issue appears there as well? 👀
If you're on a paid plan and if you're Jira admin, you could reach out to Atlassian Support. They will most likely try to replicate this and probably ask you to send over HAR files for further analysis.
