Search Email-Address in custom field

Dear all,

I do have a custom field named "email" as a "Text Field (single line)".

I'm want to search for all email-addresses in my issues which ends with "@something.com".

But this does just not work. There a no results.

I already tried:

"Email[Short text]" ~ "something.com"

"Email[Short text]" ~ "*something.com" (is not valid)

And a lot of tries with some kind of escaped special characters in any given way...

Any idea? Let me know. Thanks

This is not possible with just native Jira functionality.

There is a change request about it to which you can add your vote:
