ScriptRunner listener Script not able to pass admin restriction in workflow

Andrew Dao October 24, 2022

I am having a problem the Scriptrunner's listener as the add on user. It is suppose to have admin permission for projects by default? In the workflow there is one restriction that only allow administers to move a certain issue, and it isn't allowing Sciptrunner add on user to use it. I know the script works because when I run it as current user (I am also an admin) it works fine.

Hi @Andrew Dao

I would check the permissions on the user, the permission schemes for each project, and the transition in the workflow itself. It sounds like the add-on user doesn't have the necessary permissions for one step in the workflow, so maybe there is a specific group at that step.

Thanks,

Tim
