Script for updating the field

Whenever status changed from "To Do" to "In progress" for EPIC, then update or assign the default value for story point as 1 and Priority as Medium. For this use case, i need automation script.

Hey @Ramesh Krishnan

You may create a rule like below:

Trigger:

• Work Item Transitioned:
  • From:To Do
  • To: In Progress
• Condition:
  • IF: Work type : Epic
• Action:
  • Edit Work Item:
    • Story Points: 1
    • priority: Medium
