As We are planning for jira upgradation from 7.2.6 to 8.18.1 and Then Migrate to AWS cloud.

shall i upgrade directly or do i need to take any patch upgradation, 

what is the suggested way By Atlassian Community.

Pls Give me a Documented Suggetions.

Then have a look for the AWS install docs - if you're installing the same (upgraded) version on AWS, with the same type of database as your existing server, moving your data over will be a trivial task of copying files and restoring a database.
