SAML authentication for JIRA - Need help

Hi

We are trying first time to implement JIRA with SAML authentication. I need some help in finding meta data for SAML authentication. Any help will be appreciated.

If you are using Jira Data Center, there is a bundled plugin that you could use to do this natively within Jira.  More details in SAML single sign-on for Atlassian Data Center applications

However this plugin is not included to Jira Server (non-data center) installations.   In which case, if you want to configure Jira to use SAML, you will need to use another plugin with Jira.  There are a number of options you can choose from in our Marketplace.  It is possible that the steps you would need to follow could be slightly different depending on the plugin you are using to achieve this kind of integration.
