SAML Rollback Plan

Krista Dyer

Hello,

I will be updating our platform with SAML through the Altassian Access and would like to have an effective roll back plan. Can I get details on this?

Thanks!

Get yourself a user (invite) that is not in any email domains that you will verify or have verified as part of Atlassian Access/organisation setup (i.e. invite your own gmail account). Make this user a site-admin and org admin. Test that you can login and do site and org administration.

Switch SAML on. Test with your normal user. If all works - go remove your gmail one from org admins and site admins and remove site access from it. If the account was a true throw away one – you can also login into id.atlassian.com with you gmail one and request deletion of this account.

If it doesn't work, login with your gmail user and disable SAML.
