Roadmaps in JIRA Cloud?

We just go the announcement from Atlasian about JIRA Roadmaps, how do we use this feature? it doesn't show up on our page at all, and creating new projects does not allow us to choose a next-gen project, any ideas? we want to give it a try

It's only available for Next-Gen projects as far as i know and seen. Email is very confusing. It's basically a new project template you use. Not a new feature for all past templates.

Yeah I got that, but I cannot even find a way to create a new next-gen project... the option is not available

You need to have been granted permission to create them via the system permission schemes.

 

If that's enabled, we noticed that it'll show as "agility" until your instance actually gets the update.  The option only showed up for us today.
