Has anyone integrated Oracle's Rightnow with JIRA?
I was looking for someone who specifically linked Rightnow tickets to Jira Tickets to understand how they kept the 2 systems in synch.
Yes, a few years ago primarily with a groovy script using JIRA Command Line Interface for the JIRA side, some custom RightNow scripts (don't know details), and a inter-change database for the scripts to communicate back and forth. JIRA update side was based on a 30 second polling interval on the database with the script running continuously as a Bamboo build. This worked really well especially with incoming support items getting to JIRA and developers very quickly. Bamboo tracked all the logs for problem determination and notifications on failures.
I suspect however, that you would like more details and I don't have access to that anymore.
