Restriction on Custom fields

Basis of Project requirement, some of specific fields has been created and grouped in different Tab under screen scheme.

Do we have any way to hide the some of TAB which contains confidential data basis of Users Roles.

Hi @Arvind 

Do you want to hide those fields permanently? Then check the Field Configuration associated with the project.

You can hide custom fields from the screen. If you use different field configurations per issues type (managed by the field configuration scheme), you can hide fields for specific issue types.

While applying Hide option, its hiding for everyone; However my ASK it to hide the field from specific Users (Role wise). i.e Project Adm can see it but developer can't.

In that case, an option is to place the custom field on a transition/workflow screen (between two workflow statuses), add the screen to a (self-reflecting) transition and add a workflow condition hiding the transition for everyone except specified project roles or groups.
