Restricting the workflow status property is not working properly

I want to restrict the permissions of the Jira ticket that it should be edited by only my Group. So in my workflow - [ Security Bug Workflow V2 ] for the [ Open ] status i have updated the property to  [ jira.permission.edit.group = security-bug-editors ]. So according to the document the group should be able to edit the ticket but the group was not able to edit the ticket and also no user was able to edit the ticket. For the group i have also granted the user permission then also not able to edit the tickets. 

Expected  - After adding the status property in the workflow it should only allow the group to edit the ticket.

Issue - After changing the status property in the workflow no one was able to edit the ticket.  

Am i missing something kindly help me out. Is there any other way we can restrict users to edit the ticket and only allowed users can edit the ticket

could be you have the same topic. Try to use the groupId
