I have a jira project that is for my support issues. Many different teams provide support and I want to give them access but I don't want them to see every ticket. Is there a way I can restrict access to certain groups, using versions for example? I want all the tickets to remain one project so I have easy visibility of all of them.

You can use the issue security levels. Create on for each team and they will be able to see only their issues once a security level is set on them.
