Based on the documentation, Resolved(Date) is set, if we are setting any resolution(custom resolution, or system defined),when the issue is transitioned to a status. It is not set when resolution is unresolved.
I want to achieve the following -
I don't want resolved date to be shown in view screen, when setting a resolution(any custom resolution) in any status except DONE status or when the resolution is set DONE/Completed.

You will need to edit your workflow so that the resolution is only set, or offered to the users during the transition, on the transitions into "done"
