Why is this column blank?  How can I create an open-to-closed report?

Hi @Matt Herold

Is this an export as the result of an issue search?

If yes, I would first check the Resolution field is being set on issues which are in "done" statuses (this is what activates the Resolved field) - are Resolutions present?

Hello @Ste Wright

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes, this is a column in an Excel .csv export.

Where would I find the resolution field?  I suspect the nomenclature may have been changed by a project manager.

Here is a SS from a "Done" case as it's labeled:

Thank you for your input

Hi @Matt Herold

Usually the Resolution shows next to the Status, it'll be a word with a green tick next to it. You don't appear to have it in the top screenshot.

In this instance I would check the Workflow to ensure either there's a...

  • Post-function setting the resolution, or...
  • Screen on the "Done" transition, which has the Resolution field on it so one can be set
