on the bug issue type, when a bug status is changed to “Closed” a popup appears and prompts the user to populate a Resolution. Please add this Resolution popup functionality to also appear when the bug status is changed to “Cancelled

I got this ask from a customer, is it possible to set it this way?

You can configure it the same way it was configured for the "Closed" transition.

Refer to jira issues need a resolution and refer to the Resolution Set Using a Screen section and choose the transition which relates to the "Cancelled" state.
