Require Component Field When Closing Ticket

I'd like to have the component field required when closing a ticket. When I go to edit the field configuration on the project and click on Required for component, it makes the component field required for all the issue screen types. I only want it to be required for 1 specific issue screen type. Is this possible?

@Jh what you want to do is possible but you are doing it in the wrong place. Field configuration applies for the field to be mandatory at any time. Instead, edit the workflow and in the close transition add a validator that components is required. Make sure to assign a screen as well where the user can set a value to it as part of the transition.

Thank you Hernan, I added the validator to the resolve arrow for my Component field and that worked.
