Request to use MFA

Hello everyone.

When I log in to Atlassian, I am asked at irregular intervals whether I want to use the MFA or not.
If I answer positively, I'm guided through the setup process and can activate the MFA at the end. (Info: We have not yet verified our domain, so I am considered an external user).

What determines whether this message appears or not?
Maybe there is some logic behind this it or just a counter or sth. similar.

The prompt to set up Multi-Factor Authentication or verify your identity is a deliberate security measure enforced by the Atlassian organization you are accessing.

This external user security policy requires periodic re-authentication to ensure the security of the organization's resources.
