Request for Temporary License to Activate Jira Data Center – Cloud Migration Purpose

I am writing to request a temporary license to activate Jira Data Center. The purpose of this request is to facilitate the migration of our existing files, configurations, and settings from Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud.

As part of our organization's transition to Jira Cloud, we need temporary access to our Jira Data Center instance to:

- Export and back up all existing project data, issues, and attachments

- Migrate user configurations, workflows, and custom settings

- Ensure a smooth and complete transfer of all relevant data to the Jira Cloud environment

Could you please provide us with a temporary license for the duration required to complete this migration process? We estimate that the migration will take approximately 2 to 4 weeks.

For requests like a temporary Jira Data Center license for migration purposes, the Atlassian Community won’t be able to issue or approve the license directly.

You’ll need to raise this request with Atlassian Support through the official support portal:

https://support.atlassian.com/contact/

Since you already have your SEN number and migration details prepared, include the same information in the support ticket. The licensing/support team can review your request and advise on the temporary extension options available for your migration from Jira Data Center to Jira Cloud.

You can usually raise it under:

• Billing, licensing & renewals

• Data Center licensing/support
