Can we have a JIRA rule that listens to the creation of certain Confluence pages (e.g. a certain Confluence page, and all its sub pages), and then automatically pulls the title (and other details, such as author of the Confluence subpage, date of creation, etc.) which could then be used to populate a JIRA ticket?

Basically we have a Confluence project, in which we have certain task that we document but also want to track progress in JIRA. Rather then manually having to always create a JIRA ticket and have to assign specific values such as the assignee, due date, parent, for the task details documented in Confluence, we would like to be able to automate all this when a subpage is created in Confluence, to make our process more efficient and concise.
