I get the following error.
No valid Jira nominated reporter specified (or set as profile default reporter) through the field [reporter]
Many of the accounts registered on our Jira instance use an old email domain. The users of these accounts, however, currently all use emails with the new domain in outlook. My guess is that no reporter was found when Jira examined the email address of the sender, because the sender was registered on Jira using an old email domain. Users registered onto Jira with the new email domain (therefore matching email on Jira and on outlook) can create issues.
My question is if there's any way around this problem without having to change the email set on the user's profile? It'd be very time consuming if I had to manually change the emails of the users on our Jira instance since there are many accounts on it.
from where i can get field reporter to add non-jira email on it ?
