Hi, An user has created n number of tickets, and currently am removing the user and replacing with another user. Will this effect the ticket status ? also need to know adding one gropu ID as user will be accepted by JIRA.

Not unless you've coded something to change the status.

Just changing a field on an issue using "edit" (and not a transition) in Jira creates an entry in the history to say you've changed it, and it will change the "updated date". But nothing else.

But, as you mention "unaccessible", bear in mind that permissions or security levels can be based on user fields (e.g. "only assignee can edit issue"), so if you're altering a user field used in the permissions/security, the "accessability" of an issue can change too.

I don't really understand that, my best guess is that you mean a group with only one user in it and with the same name as the user (which will work fine). But you can't use groups in the user fields. Groups are Groups of users. Users are user accounts. User fields only use users.
