Rename Jira Software Site Name

Is it possible to rename a Jira Software Site?

I found documentation on how to do that with the server version, but not cloud.

Am I out of luck?

Hi, updating URLs is available for sites that have at least one Jira or Confluence product with a Standard, Premium, or Enterprise plan. You’re unable to update the URL if the site has only Jira Free and Confluence Free.

Hi David, welcome to the Community.

To a point, yes. It will always have the form of xxx.atlassian.net. The xxx can be changed by Atlassian Support. However, since you are on Free version you do not have support so I'm afraid you are stuck. The only recourse is to create a new instance.

It's quite odd that the link in the sign-up mail brings me to the page "Rename your site", but then tells me that I don't have permissions to change the site name.
