Hi, is there a way to remove site access via API Call?

I have 700+ users to remove and do not want to do this by hand.

I found this endpoint but this does not exactly what I want to do.

https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/admin/user-management/rest/api-group-users/#api-users-account-id-manage-lifecycle-disable-post

Infact this deactivate the user from all site in the organization. I just want to remove site access from a specific site.

I do not want to remove the user from jira-software-users group either because I would like to keep a history of what the state of the user was before removal, basically just like the manual toggle does, it clears licences but still keeps group membership, this way it is eazy to reactivate users in the same configuration.

Thanks.

@antoine.luboz-ext - Removing the Jira-software-user group for application access would be the way to go or remove global permission for the Jira-software-user group instance on the site(They would have access but can't really use Jira). Then add the group back when you need it again.
