Remove "Done" epics from board

Deleted user November 14, 2022

Hey folks, I'm trying to figure out how to get the "DONE" epics off of a board and I can't find a way.

The 2 possible solutions I've found are:

  1. Add the sprint feature and then the Done issues will be removed.
  2. We remove them manually by deleting them.

Could you please look into this?

Thank you in advance!

Regards,

Stef Moreno

The display of Epic is controlled by the Epic Status single select field. You can add that field to an edit screen and manually update it. You can also change the workflow to change this field when an issue status is changed. Or have a periodic script look for Epics that have been closed for a few weeks and closes them

Can you update the board query to exclude Epics in the Done status?

Hello @[deleted]

Are you working with a Scrum board or a Kanban board?

Are you talking about removing them from the Board view or from a Backlog view?

Are you working with a Company Managed or Team Managed project? That will show at the bottom of the navigation pane on the left.

Are you working with a Software, Service, or Business project? That will show at the top of the navigation pane just below the Project name.

Can you provide a screen image of what screen you are viewing, with confidential data blurred?
