Remove Accidental User Syncronized from External LDAP

I have a user who had recently gotten married and changed her surname. A request came in from HR to update her legal names and usernames. However, my intern misinterpretted the request and created a brand new blank user in LDAP. This new user got syncronized into JIRA before we caught it so now there ended up being two of the same user with different usernames. We have since deleted the extra username from LDAP but would like to clean up JIRA too as it now shows usernameA and usernameB(inactive) in the user directory. Please let me know how I can remove the accidental usernameB(inactive) from Jira.
