Release option in Next-gen projects is now available?

Hi!

I have a Next-gen project to experiment, and I can create a release and a fix version.

Still, I see that the ticket is still in progress https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17260.

Am I missing something? Is this feature already on live and can I use it, or are there some severe limitations? I really need to decide between classic and next-gen projects, and if I can't use it properly, it's a blocker

The release functionality for next-gen projects is live and you can read more about it here:

The referenced ticket is still in an an "in-progress" status as there is additional functionality being added and updates will be released as available.
