As mentioned in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-relative-human-readable-time-works-for-date-time-field-in-jira-777012124.html
the calculation of relavite dates is confusing:
Assume it is 9:20 right now.
Then JIRA would display a timestamp from yesterday
May questions:
1) I can see no good argument to calculate in such a confusing way.
Does anyone else? (Or is it just stupid?)
2) Is there any way to change it, so that "days ago" are calculated from the beginning of the day (00:00)?
Have you try this link https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/display-standard-dates-in-jira-server-414187622.html which is mentioned at the bottom of the page you shared?
Hi Alex,
no, i did not deactivate the whole feature.
In general the relativation is a very good idea.
And i do not want to skip it completely for a corner case issue.
I think, it is better to improve the feature.
So is there any option to do so?
Or would a feature request at atlassian be required, which would lay around for 10 years and then be closed for lack of votings?
Best regards, Michael
