Related to Active sprint in JIRA

In Active sprint page, we can see the issue/task which is in To Do or In Progress or Done status. Is there any way to include one more status like Blocked, etc. Because on few instance, we can have the same task for previous sprint and still it is continuing for current sprint and it is blocked now. Hence if we mark the status into blocked, it is removed from Active sprint page. Just curious to know, do we have option to add the status in the Active sprint?

You need simply to map your workflow statuses to the board columns. Please take a look here for more information https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-columns/

Thank you!  @Fabio Racobaldo [Catworkx]  Exact ans for my query. But, here am bit confused on getting permission to do that, it says company managed projects and team managed projects. Steps are clear for adding column, but need to look deeper for the access process. Will check with my manager. Thanks!
