Register multiple labels at once

Hello,

I want to register multiple(about 10) labels to the project at once and use them when needed but the only way it seems that you provide is registering at opening a ticket. So what I was going to do is make a dummy ticket with all the labels and close it but then the labels will fade away as well, correct? Please advise what is the best way to do so. Thanks in advance.

JIRA calculates the labels available in a project by querying all issue's "Label" field. So the actual values are contained in the "Labels" field value for each issue. This means that there is not a better approach from the one you're using. And yes - if you delete this dummy issue the labels will disappear.
