Regarding mysql community edition support

We are currently using Atlassian Jira server 8.7.5 with MySQL enterprise . Is using Jira Server 8.7.5 supported with Mysql Community edition.
Eagerly looking forward for direct responses from the community as well as relevant Atlassian employees.
