Regarding Subcomponent add-on

I just installed trial version of "Subcomponents for JIRA" plug-in and noticed that we can't have sub-component with same name in multiple components. For example I can't have comp A and comp B with having sub-comp logging.

Is that correct? If yes, this is a serious design flaw! Any option to fix it?

You right, that's not possible... yet. That's because subcomponents are eventually native JIRA Project components and the limitation comes from there. Relying on existing data model (components) has a lot of benefits, but comes with this limitation.

But we hope to provide a usability workaround for this in v1.5 by introducing component alias names: this will respect the native name uniqueness and give a way to work with same alias names for multiple subcomponents.
