Refer to the logs

I am very new and  have no one to guide me. Where do I find the logs???

I received this error

You can check logs in:

  1. HOME DIRECTORY >> log >> atlassian-jira.log
  2. INSTALLATION DIRECTORY >> logs >> catalina.[DATE].log
