Hello,

we have the problem that when we trigger a transition via bulk change that does a lot of stuff the load on the jira server multiplies to a point where the system is almost unusable.

 

Is there a way to tell Jira to for example wait between issues so that this effect is not so big?

Or an easy way to schedule bulk operations when the load on the server is low?

Hello,

You can limit the number of issues available for bulk change for usual users and make more issues available for administrators. You need set certain parameters in the jira-config.properties.
