Hi @Peter Bruning In Jira, mine does flip back after several seconds. If I'm looking at a Jira issue, click 'Show more comments' it will show the additional comments, and then after 30 seconds or so, revert back.
I found JRACLOUD-94212 on Atlassian's Jira Site which sounds like this issue. I would suggest voting for and watching it for updates. I just did that as well.
