Recent changes in Log Work? Automation rule logging work during transition fails

I have an Automation rule that transitions an issue and logs work during that transition. That is required because of a transition screen that has "Log work" as a mandatory field (Validator).

The rule worked fine until a couple of days ago. We installed Time Tracker & Gadgets (Tempo) a week ago, so might have something to do with it, but the time tracking still is set to the Jira Standard.

Anyone else having issues or a clue of what might have happened?

Nevermind. The execution user didn't have Log Work permissions.
