Re-order sub-tasks from parent ticket

Adam Taylor

Hi,

I'm using Jira Cloud and would like to be able to re-order sub-tasks when looking at the parent ticket in the same way that I can reorder a checklist (i.e. drag and drop).

At the moment, I have a ticket with various sub-tasks but they aren't necessarily in the logical order that they need to be done - e.g. where we create an initial list of 10 things to be done but then realise that there's something else that needs to be done as 'step 2' but that ticket is stuck at the bottom of the list!

I would like to be able to open a parent Issue, scroll down to the sub-tasks and easily rearrange the order in which they appear.

Possible out of the box, surely?

Hello @Adam Taylor

That functionality already exists natively.

You should be able to drag and drop the sub-tasks to reorder them.

Is that not working for you?

@Trudy P Claspill No, it is not working. I also cannot re-arrange the sequence of sub-tasks
