Re-naming one label?

1. Is there an easy way to simply re-name one label? 
2. Can I have a description for each label?

Hi @lisa 

You can not rename labels.

As a workaround,you can create a new label, assign it to your issues and then remove the old label.

you can follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Search for issues with the label you want to rename
2. Perform a bulk edit -> select all -> edit issues -> change labels -> add to existing. Add the new label (with correct name/ spelling)
3. Return to your search and bulk edit again
4. Perform bulk edit -> select all -> edit issues -> change labels -> find and remove these. Type the old label name.

You can not add description for label.
