R4J 4.5 with cleanup functionality fails in production

We have installed the latest R4J 4.5 version which addresses EASE-8390 where R4J writes exponential amount of data into jira database.

The build works fine in pre-production however in production, the landing page throws null pointer exception.

https://<myjiradomain>/jira02/plugins/servlet/com.easesolutions.jira.plugins.requirements/cleanup-revisions

Does anyone know of any workaround or have come across this behavior?

url: "cleanup-revisions?op=cleanupStatus&_=1631115974621"Request URL:

https://<myjiradomain>/jira02/plugins/servlet/com.easesolutions.jira.plugins.requirements/cleanup-revisions?op=cleanupStatus&_=1631115974621
Request Method: GET
Status Code: 400

There are no good error logs to debug further. Ease solutions is aware of the problem, but I wanted to check with the community if I'm missing something.

Hello @Divya TV

Just to officially answer this for the community. The issue may be resolved through correcting Jira directory permissions for the <Jira_Home>/log directory. Upgrading to R4J 4.6 should also resolve the issue.

For any more issues found, please reach out to our support team.

Best regards,
Angelica
