Is it possible to add a Quick Filter that allows you to filter your JIRA Board by issues that people are either Watching or a Team Member on?

Currently, my team's board is only configured for Quick Filters by the individual who is Assigned to an issue (e.g. you can only filter by "Only My Issues" or by name of the issue assignee). Therefore, if I want to quickly get to issues I am Watching or am a secondary participant on, I have to filter by another person's name (the person actually Assigned to the issue).

Thank you!

Austin

Hello Austin,

Welcome to Atlassian community.

Can you confirm to me if you are using a Classic Project or a next-gen project on JIRA?

1- If you are using a classic project, you can perform the following steps to add a custom quick filter (Applicable for both Kanban and Scrum boards):

- Navigate to your board and click on the three dots Icon (...) at the top right corner > Board Settings > Quick filters

- Add the following quick filter to your board:

watcher in ("user1", "user2", ...)

Where user1 and User2 are the usernames of the watchers you are looking for.

2- If you are using a next-gen project, I'm afraid this functionality is not available yet, however, we have already requested it. You can vote and watch the feature request to increase its priority and also be notified of any updates:

Please, let me know if this information has properly addressed your question.
