Question on Attachment field?

I want display content of attached files on same page(like a text field), Instead of redirecting to another page.
And also I should be able to edit the contents of file.
please suggest me, Is there any way to do this? or using any plugins?

I would be thankful, if you help me in this.

i don't think it is possible untile you have to modify jira source code
