Question about TimeTracking when creating an Issue

When I create an issue I need to specify an estimate of how much hours it will take. However I only have the option to put timetracking field that has both original and remaining estimate. Since original is mandatory, remainging becomes mandatory too. But I am creating the issue, so remaining actually doesn't make much sense here.

Is there any way to input original only?

I believe that you will need to make some custom changes to be able to add just one of the fields.
