We have a cloud server instance which we are trying to migrate to jira cloud and below are few queries we have:
Possibility 1: If we create a cloud instance with trial license and migrate our PROD instance to the CLOUD does it give us full pledged seamless access and features of cloud Jira s/w without any impact so that we can purchase new cloud license in July 2021?
Possibility 2: Or it is mandatory to purchase the new cloud license now prior migrating the PROD data to the cloud instance. If we go ahead with the trail cloud instance without purchase of new cloud instance with an understanding that, having a valid server license what would be the impact on our cloud migrated instance?
With the license we applied the cloud jira shows that it can provide license for 500 users under the trail version.
2. Will the Data Privacy and Security policies be the same while in the Cloud Trail version as what is in the Cloud Production version?
3. Will the SLA be the same in the Cloud Trial version as what is in the Cloud Production version? – SLA for Availability is critical
4. Will there be support provided by Atlassian during Cloud Trail version on the backup/restoration of the data in case there is any data breach/data issue?
5. Will the JIRA URL remain same in the Cloud Trail version ?
Thanks for responding like a spark. One question on the "3" one. When we applied our Jira Cloud Server License to the Jira Cloud would it take us to Cloud Premium or Cloud Standard or other?
We noticed that even Cloud Premium has trial version. Just wanted to check to what Jira Cloud it would migrate us normally to.
Thanks for the help again.

Neither, you don't apply a licence to Cloud. You buy a subscription.
