QLIK REST API connector to JIRA integration

Hi ,
I am trying to perform a POST operation using the QLKI REST endpoint connector and basic (user id/password) auth tp perfrom a search using JQL. I am getting and error on POST - HTTP code 415. However testing the connection with GET appears to be fine. any ideas why this might be?
