Purging the Child Field on a Cascading Listbox

I have a Cascading Listbox and want to purge the contents of the child value on transition in a Post Function.  Is that possible?

interesting question. When you say 'purge' do you mean blank? Have you attempted this via post function w/o luck? Does post function have an option to change/set the values of cascading lists?

Yes, in this case I only want the child value cleared.  When I use the  "Clear Field Value" Post Function it makes both the parent and the child blank, whereas I only want the child blank.

not surprised. Sorry I don't have an answer and suspect that it is not possible natively.
